Shana Methi

Shana Methi (Fenugreek leaves) are carefully hand-picked from farms which offer the highest quality. The Methi sprigs are washed, leaves with fine stems are picked and coarsely shredded. These Methi leaves are then quick frozen, into convenient size blocks, to ensure that they retain all its nutritional goodness.

Cook straight from frozen
Methi Turia
Method
- Heat the oil and fry cinnamon sticks and cloves for about a minute and remove.
- Add Shana Turia, cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add Shana Methi and remaining ingredients; stir gently and continue cooking for further 4-5 minutes.
- Remove the lid, season with salt and simmer until sauce is reduced to about half.
- Transfer into serving dish and garnish with fresh ginger.
Ideal accompaniments for this dish are Shana Paratha, Shana Chapatti, Naan Bread, Roti or Rice.

| 2 tbsp | Oil (Corn or Vegetable) |
| 1 | Clove of Garlic (crushed) |
| 2 | Small sticks of Cinnamon |
| 2 | Whole Cloves |
